Site Upgrade
Last Edited: 1 September 2025Mini Oil Lamps . com is currently undergoing a site upgrade. Both "housekeeping" and site improvements will be implemented. They are as follows:
1) The existing images up to Lamp0068 currently have "MiniKeroseneLamps.com" watermarked on them - these will be progressively changed to "Mini Oil Lamps . com".
2) The image sizes in the public album will be increased for better viewing. Currently they are 200x150 pixels - they will be increased to 320x240.
3) Currently, lamp data is being displayed in the private album for the collector's use only. This will all be transferred to the public album. Subsequently, search functionality will become available for everyone. Take a look at Lamp0001 to see what kind of data is available for each lamp. As an example of the search capabilites try putting the word "christmas" into the search box at top right. Also read the Using Search page for useful tips. Then go to the Gallery And News page and scroll down to see the entire list of search terms (tags) entered for the 68 lamps so far. Note that some of those tags will not be searchable until all data is transferred to the public album. This feature will no doubt assist people in searching for a specific lamp.
